1. wipe up the grease stain
The first step is to soak up the stain with a piece of paper. This only works when the stain is still damp - but it is crucial for your final result. Apply the paper to the stain so that it is completely dry. The aim is to remove as much of the food that caused the stain as possible.
2. Sprinkle flour on the grease stain
Continue to remove the grease stain using potato or cornflour. Sprinkle a generous amount of flour on the stain and leave it on overnight, at least for 6 hours.
