Here are some frequently asked questions and answers about home cleaning and cleaning.
What is included in the cleaning?

How do RUT deductions work?
As you probably know, you can claim an RUT deduction for home cleaning. This applies whether you own your home or not. You can deduct 50 per cent of the cost of the work, and for SEK 75,000 per person/year.
To be able to claim the RUT deduction, the cleaning company must have an F-tax or A-tax from Sweden and the company must not be a sole trader.
We at Hello Clean cleaning help have extensive experience in administering the RUT deduction. You as a customer do not need to do anything and the deduction will be made directly on your invoice.

What is the difference between maid service and house cleaning?
Basically the same thing. However, cleaning services can also include businesses. At Hello Clean, we help both private individuals and companies with cleaning assistance.
From which countries do your cleaning workers come?
Our staff come from all over the world, including Sweden. What they all have in common is that they have fair conditions.
Is there a commitment period for your cleaning services?
No, we do not have a fixed term for cleaning services. For example, you can pause your cleaning service during your holidays.
Is cleaning help only for the rich?
No, we don't. Thanks to our competitive prices and the RUT deduction, cleaning is accessible to most people. We have customers who live in large expensive houses, but also people in their 20s who live in smaller rented flats.
Is it always the same cleaner who comes?
As far as possible, we try to use the same cleaner if you have continuous home cleaning.
Is it OK to work from home while cleaning?
It is absolutely possible to stay at home during the cleaning assistance. However, this is not a requirement. The choice is entirely yours.
How long does home cleaning take?
You can use our calculator to find out how long your home cleaning will take. It is usually quite accurate but there are of course exceptions.
How to get started with home cleaning?
When you book your first home cleaning, you will be asked to tell us about your accommodation and your expectations. After the first cleaning, we will get back to you to see if you are satisfied and want to continue with continuous cleaning help.
